My sister asked me if I wanted to make a painting of Seafarer's Park, the location of her Anacortes Cancer Walk, at the last mintute for the 2025 walk and I said I'll try! So I came up with this. It's based on a photo I took at the park at sunrise about 10 years ago. Karla created and has run the walk for many years and has raised many tens of thousands of dollars for our local hospital's cancer center. 100% of the fund go to help cancer patients with personal costs during their treatment at Island Health in Anacortes.
